AAPOL Board of Director, Detective Monica L. Fortson is featured in Fearless Faith by Priscilla R. Haley

“When you’re hit with blow after blow, and your life begins to crumble before your eyes, fear creeps in telling you, “You won’t survive this.” But, that’s when God steps in, strengthens your Faith muscle, and lets you know, “You will survive through this.”

These 10 phenomenal women, chosen by God through Bestselling Author, Priscilla R. Haley, pour their hearts into their stories and invite the reader into their journey of fear to Fearless Faith. In Fearless Faith, each author shares her story of how the mighty hand of God is always at work when you trust Him to lead the way.

And just as you need to walk with the Lord and believe you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, before you can enjoy peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, you also need to know the love of God for your faith to work consistently. “Faith worketh by love.” Galatians 5:6”

I would like to thank the AAPOL members for the support and dedication to the organization.  The February General Meeting was successful with attendance and participation of all events.   I’m requesting that we as an organization continue to reach out to others in getting more officers to become members.

In the near future, the AAPOL Board will discuss relocating our headquarters back to Griggs Rd. with the intent to make it more convenient for members to attend meetings and be more present in the community.

Again, I would like to thank the members for the support, Chief Acevedo for backing AAPOL’s initiatives and Executive Chief Finner for his guidance.  Let’s continue to make the African American Police Officers’ League great!

Thanks,

Eric Carr
